Usually when you check in here on Monday to see what I have created this week you see a card, once in awhile a scrapbook page, but today I'm giving you an ATC (Artist Trading Card). Love to Create Challenge is shaking things up this week and asking you to create something a little different for this week's challenge. If you are wondering what an ATC is here is what I found: An ATC (Artist Trading Card) is the size of a trading card 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches and can have whatever you want on the front, it's the artist's choice. These cards can then be traded with other artist. I've done several trades with ATC's and love making them. Today's sponsor for this challenge is A Day for Daisies who has some of the best digis I have come across!! I hope you like what I have done. The digi that I have used is A Day for Daisies- Batgirl.
I hope you liked my something a little different for this Monday. Now you need to get busy and make your Artist Trading Card and come on over to Love to Create Challenge and join us!! Hope to see you there!!
|I used a 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of Georgia Pacific cardstock for the base of this card covering it with Pink Paislee's Hocus Pocus pattern paper. The digi Batgirl was printed on PaperTrey Ink cardstock and then cut out with a Spellbinder. I used ColorBox Chalk-Charcoal around the cutout to add a little bit of color. Along the right side of the card I used a piece of Celebrate It Halloween ribbon and also sanded all the edges of the card. I added some gems with ZigZag Adhesive that was from my stash. The digi was colored with Copics: E000, E00, E11, E31, E35, E93, T2, T3, T4, G24, YR20, R24, R39.|
|The back of ATCs usually has information about the artist and the card on the back so that's what I added using Microsoft Word Font Chiller. You can't have a one of a kind without a signature so I added my name with a sharpie.|
